AS & KB Constructions are Renovation and Addition Specialists We specialize in the construction of Architecturally Designed Homes, Renovations, Additions, and Restorations in the $250,000 to $3,000,000 price range. Our preference of working on Architectural designed and managed projects is so we have the opportunity to liaise directly with the designer, to evolve design concepts to produce a completed job that achieves the intended aesthetic results. By meticulously planning the way to build the job from the beginning to accomplish these authentic results and planning the sequencing of project and having the mind-set of “getting it right the first time” we maximize productivity and minimize reworking. This in turn makes it more economically and practical for the client and gives us our management, staff and contractors greater job satisfaction. The company was formed after Andrew Simpson left the employ as Managing Director of a medium size commercial building firm in 1998 to start his own business and to pursue his interest in the residential building market. Andrew has been working in the industry since 1978. He has personally overseen and held the Building Supervisors Licence on the construction of over 200 new homes and units, 350 fully renovated houses, a 21 unit nursing home, 6 large factories, 7 shops, and 1 Substation. During this time he has received awards for, The Daily Telegraph “Best 10 houses in Sydney”, M.B.A Awards “Additions First Floor” and another winning “The best use of recycled timber”. Both Andrew’s sons are qualified carpenters and project managers. They both oversee the running of the projects. Our dedicated office staff has had vast experience in estimating, computer operating, accounting and office management. Together this combination gives to its clients the best of building office management and practical and technical on site experience.
