VoltX Energy just finished setting up our home storage and the workmanship is spot on. The electrician did a great job keeping the cabling neat and tidy, which makes a huge difference to the overall look. They took the time to walk us through the app setup before leaving and made sure everything was tracking correctly. It’s a relief to see the system finally running. Plus, they actually cleaned up after themselves once the work was done. Very happy with how the whole process was handled.

I recently had voltx install a battery (28kw with 10kw inverter). Not only was their price competitive and the sales person willing to answer my questions, the installation team arrived when scheduled and did a neat and thorough job. They also explained how everything worked, the app usability etc. only a few days in but very happy so far with the overall service and offering from voltx.

Update 8 May 2026 - approx 2 months since install: I have a 50kw battery installed and switched off, and receive the odd automated "recommend your friends" sms from voltx, but no communication about enabling the system. Maybe the overdue invoice will trigger a real human to take a look? Not optimistic at this stage. ---- Update, 9 April 2026: After 2 weeks in mediation here, countless support tickets and phone calls, I still do not have a forward plan or any serious contact from VoltX. Suggest to avoid at all costs. ---- Sales process was fairly smooth. Sales people call every day, sometimes multiple times, until you have locked in and sent all the pre-sales info they need. Once they finally had all the info, they were keen to install next day. Installers turned up on the agreed day, were very polite and helpful and cleaned up after themselves. They had to install some fireproofing and did a reasonably tidy job. From what I can tell, our house is a difficult install. They took all rubbish away. There was some problem when turning the system on post-install, maybe a faulty inverter. The poor installers sat around waiting until close of business and then said somebody would be in touch and went home. It's now been more than a week with no contact at all from VoltX about finishing the install. After reaching out a few times I have had fairly broken English email replies with no forward path. I have a 50kw bank of batteries sitting here switched off, with no real way forward. Started out great but the after sales service is shocking. Not really sure if there is a case open, someone coming, anything happening.

From initial contact to job done, was much quicker than expected. Works well!

It’s a relief to have the energy storage up and running now. We had a few questions about the technical side of things while they were here, but the installers were attentive and took the time to explain how it all works. And they even made sure to clean up the workspace before heading off. Overall, it's been a positive experience getting this tech into the house.

Signed up in Nov 2025 for a 50kWh battery and solar package, (I'm in Wollongong) to take advantage of Govt rebate offer. Voltx contacted me last month to say that they won't be able to complete the installation (obviously signed up too many people), and offered me a refund + $250 bonus to accept a cancellation of my contract. I accepted, they have provided the refund but they are now not honoring the $250 bonus payment that they promised, and giving excuses of accounts department are overloaded. Dodgy company, won't be going near them again.

The process went smoothly and installation went timely. The installers were professional and friendly. Have recommended to friends. Very happy with set up.
