Established in 2017, the simple idea of a back-to-basics camping experience with no set up spawned the birth of Hitch Campers. Family owned and operated, we understand our work is driven by the people. Whether its our employees, customers or suppliers, we strive to be the people you can trust. Our Story Owned by a father and son duo, Andrew and Luke have been camping their entire life. With trips across the Simpson Desert, and up to Cape York (just to name a few), the family is no stranger to the great outdoors. After owning countless caravans, motorhomes and boats, they were looking for something that could give them a back-to-basics camping experience with no set up time, and go anywhere. Realising a gap in the market, they designed and built their own without sacrificing too many of the luxuries they were used to. With a lifetime worth of remote travel experience and 5 years of R&D on their designs, Hitch Campers believes there should be no compromise on where you can explore.
