We hired NO1 Decks to build a timber deck in our backyard, and we’re really happy with how it turned out. We’d been thinking about it for a while since we wanted a nice space for weekend barbecues and family gatherings, and they made the whole process easy. The team came out, had a look at the space, and gave us a few design options to choose from. We went with a raised deck to make the most of the view, and it was definitely the right call. The workmanship is solid, the finish looks great, and the attention to detail really shows.
We had a timber deck built along the side of the house to connect the backdoor with the yard. The guy who led the job, I think his name was Chris, knew what he was doing. He double-checked measurements with me before they started and was patient when I changed the position of the steps last minute. The timber looks clean and properly treated. No warping or uneven boards, which I’ve seen on other decks. Value-wise, it wasn’t the cheapest quote, but I didn’t mind paying a little more for a job done right. Only minor downside was a delay in material delivery, but the build itself ran smoothly after that.

There was a minor issue with late delivery of some materials, but they were upfront about it and handled it without delays to the overall build. I’d have no problem using them again for future work or referring to my friends around Brisbane.
