"27/4/2026 we noticed that our Sunboost solar system was not functioning properly the Solax inverter was intermittently dropping off grid or not restarting each morning to collect solar power from the panels. After contacting Sunboost in Sydney to report the issue, I was contacted by a sunboost technician name "Tom". After our discussion on the phone, he was able to talk me through a reset test procedure on the inverter and the Wifi stick, to confirm the issue was a problem & informed me that he would log the fault and raise a Ticket number and he would monitor the unit for 24hours and get back to me with advice on next steps to rectify any problems. The unit failed the next day to restart, and I received a call from Tom again that morning to advise me that our solar system Inverter warranty had expired in February 2026 and that he was going to contact the Sunboost / Solax tech teams to see if there were any processes to help rectify this problem and he would come back to me asap. I received phone messages and emails from Tom to contact him in regard to our problem & when I made contact, he advised me that he was going to organize an update procedure to be done on the Inverter unit in the hope that it may reset and rectify the problem we were experiencing, in conversation with him he explained that I had a mechanical background & would be happy to assist with any of the shutdown procedures needed to be done, He organized the Solax Techs to log into our inverters wifi dongle & complete the update on our unit the same day & after it was completed I called him back and he talked me through each step of the restart & then had me download a solax Wi-Fi App on my mobile phone so I could monitor the inverter over the next few days which he would do also, and the result was fantastic, our solar system is back up functioning 100 % which was a big relief for my Wife & I. I found Tom to be one of the most friendly, intelligent & competent technicians that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, his patience & confidence / knowledge he gave over the mobile phone and his customer service was outstanding I would rate him highly to your "Sunboost"company10 out of 10 and I will highly recommend him as an ambassador from your company to all my friends, family and relatives, in the future, Thank you "Tom Sunboost Tech" Regards Phillip Wright Mobile: 0434 129 467 7 Grangewood Avenue Tallwoods Village 2430. Dear Sunboost Team, I am writing to share my positive experience following the installation of the solar panel and battery system at my property last December. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome. The installation process was smooth, and the system has been operating reliably and efficiently since it was commissioned. It has met my expectations in terms of performance and has been a valuable addition to my home. At the time of installation, there was a minor issue with a missing cable cover due to initial unavailability. However, I would like to particularly acknowledge Emelia for her excellent support in resolving this matter. She took the initiative to source the required component and arranged for it to be delivered promptly. I was able to install it without any issues, and it completed the setup perfectly. I contacted Sunboost about my missing Inverter cover and the next day I received and email from Preston who said he would investigate the matter with the manufacturer. A few days went by and Preston replied back saying he was awaiting a response from the manufacturer. Preston continued to give me weekly updates until after 3 weeks he was able to supply the part. He organised for it to be installed the next day. So happy with Preston's excellent attention and service.

While the system installed by Sunboost works very well the after sales service is about the worst I have come across, wanted an extra component for 'Black out protection' but this company didn't call back to any enquiries at all. Not interested was the sign. Very sad that a big selling company that continues to advertise as helpful is not very helpful at all. Derek Cheshire South Australia
