We have a two-storey house on a sloping block that needed all the gutters and 2 downpipes replaced, and we wanted new gutter guard installed on all the gutters and valleys. We had several roofing businesses from Lake Macquarie and Newcastle come out and look at the job. Some flatly weren’t interested in it, saying, they’d need to hire scaffolding, access wasn’t easy, and basically it was too hard. In the end, 5 installers provided quotes, which varied in price, professionalism, and correct details. We narrowed the quotes down to 2 businesses: 1. All Connect Plumbing, based on Matt (the owner) who came out and inspected the job and was the only one who asked for house plans to get a good idea on what the job entailed. He provided a quote and detailed email explanation on how he would do the job. 2. Another installer, who professionalism and quote seemed ok, and was $2k cheaper. I requested building licence details from both. Matt responded straight away and provided copies of his building licence, workers comp insurance and business insurance. The other installer didn’t supply anything. The guys from Allconnect Plumbing were onsite for 6 days. Matt was onsite every day. They had their own scaffolding which made the job much easier for everyone. They cleaned the driveway every day, so we didn’t get any screws in our tyres and removed all rubbish the end of the job. The new gutters and downpipes look good and function as they should. Matt and his team were professional, pleasant, and got in and got the job done. For a small additional fee, they pressured cleaned our solar panels for us, and fixed a broken air outlet pipe for free. We would highly recommend Allconnect Plumbing, Roofing, Gas for any of your roofing needs.

Matt responded immediately I posted the job and he was available to undertake emergency gutter cleaning to remove 2 blocked gutters. He is a friendly, polite and attentive worker who inspected the roof/gutters and advised me of their condition for remedial action. I will hire Matt for future work and we are now waiting for his quote.
