HiTech Hot Water

I had an SPT Heat Pump Hot water installed in January 2025. The unit failed last Sunday. I reported the issue and was advised that the Australian supplier of the SPT units had gone into liquidation. However, Wayne & Liam offered to replace the unit with one they had in stock if I paid for the travel & call out fee ($960) for the plumber & electrician, as I live in rural NSW. In view of this situation I accepted their offer and the unit was replaced this morning. In summary, I'd be cautious of buying products that don't have support in Australia, however Hitech did the best they could do under the circumstances.

Great experience with Wayne as he patiently explained details about different heat pumps so I could make an informed decision. During installations I needed some clarifications and Reynolds was quick to help. He again helped me with further queries and provided clearer explanations. Finally when I look at my heat pump it feels good. The installation was also clean and neat which looks so much nicer than my previous tank. Thank you Hitech team for the great service.

Process was smooth and very informative. Genie was very knowledgeable and helpful during the initial stages in choosing the correct system. I tried several providers for a heat pump hot water system and found most of them to be utterly useless, indeed every single one of them said they couldn't help me, despite me living in central Sydney, as they were too busy, or didn't have any installers available.
