Highly expensive! Had one bloke said the filters were very filthy, yet the person who serviced my heater said it wasn’t really dirty, then they told my partner that it would cost $3000 to clean the ducts. Honestly think they took advantage of my partner. Once all completed he asked my mrs to then write a google review for him and explained what to write! STAY AWAY from this company. You’re much better off looking locally in your area for someone else.

Spam emailing my private email. Unethical and will always result in a new negative review whenever I get another one. They don't need to ask who I am because they simply should not have anyone who has never, ever contacted them in their mailing list. They obviously buy marketing lists to spam.

If there were stars that allow you to rate into the minus, this still wouldn’t be enough. The most pathetic excuse for a company that I’ve ever experienced. Charged $140.00 to stand there and did absolutely nothing to stop water pouring out of the main.

After discovering a water leak I tried getting a plumber to come and find it and fix it. I couldn't find any local plumbers available. I contacted Mr Emergency/Metropolitan Plumbing and they said they could have someone here in about 1.5 hours. Excellent I thought. $141 non refundable deposit and he turned up on time. Let me say this bit, the plumbers that turned up were very friendly and knowlegable, my beef is with the pricing. The first plumber said I needed to get another one of their plumbers that had a acoustic locator to find the leak. $141 well spent, NOT. He told me because of the cost of the acoustic locator the cost of this service would be $1850 for an hour. He could not tell me what the cost would be after this hour. The second plumber, also very friendly and knowlegable, arrived another 1.5 hours later, 6PM. He spent about half an hour with a drain camera to roughly locate the leak and the using his knowlege dicovered it under the concrete path out the front. So for the $1850 to cover the cost of using the acoustic locator he didn't actually use it. Ripped off again. He told me it would cost $1500 just to rip up the concrete to get to it, which was about 150mm under the edge. He also said once he gained access to the leak it could cost between $2000 and $3000 to repair. By this time it was 7:30 and he said he would not be able to do that night and I told him I would think about it over night. We ended up in a motel for the night as we couldn't have showers or use the toilet. The following morning I stumbled across an old buisness card for a local plumber. I called him and he said he could be here later that afternoon. In between the call and his arrival I used my own massonary saw and jackhammer to gain acces to the leak area. This took about an hour with $400 worth of equipment I already owned. The plumber turned up early that afternoon and got stuck into it and in under an hour it was fully repaired for the massive price of $310. Goes to prove, keep it local. Just to note, this little rant is going to be sent to Mr Emergency/Metropolitan Plumbing.

RC Robert was very friendly. However, we had him and two others all weekend and we are not happy with the work and we cannot get answers to other questions. Yes, we have a new toilet but also half our concrete path was dug up; we now have gravel in its place. We also have a dent that we'll be paying for years! DO NOT USE METROPOLITAN PLUMBING OR MR EMERGENCY. They are the same company, charge a lot, and forget you once they have their money!

Called around 3-4 pm about a blockage which caused the en suite toilet not to empty except through the seal at the back of the s bend. Turning the taps on in the en suite caused the toilet to fill. They told me the plumber would be here by 7pm but he did not arrive until after 8pm. I was going to cancel it after calling twice to find out how long he would be but on my second call he was close by. When he arrived I told him what was happening and without having any tools or examining the toilet he quoted $4500 to return the next day with a second person to remove the toilet and hydro blast the pipes. After lengthy argument with my sister, who owns the house and her son, who did several years as an apprentice plumber, he finally left. My nephew called the drain man the next day, who came out, removed the toilet, inspected the pipes with a camera, reported poor construction of the drainage system, cleared the blockage and replaced the toilet. The total charge was only $660.
