"My air conditioning broke down on Friday last week and I wanted to advise you of how happy I am with the service received from Kerrod, Luke and Chris. They quoted me a price last week and worked tirelessly today to install a Daikin central air conditioner. All three gentlemen were highly professional, articulate and completed the task, leaving no mess. Thank you once again."
Detailed reviews
Tap needed replacing as it was broken and couldn't be turned on or off. Wife thought to get a quote. Plumber came out from Comfyfirst. He said he needed to do a 'pressure test' on the broken tap ( we just wanted a quote to have a tap replaced). Then he used hard sales tactics from the outset trying to get wife to join a 'VIP' membership. He stepped into the house whilst my wife was at home alone, without being invited in, making my wife feel very uncomfortable. He then started asking strange questions about the house and tried to push the VIP membership further. I then came home and he was then sitting in his ute. He then came out of the ute and tried to sell me the VIP membership. I said i need to discuss with my wife as its the first I heard of this. He said, lets go inside and discuss with her now ( which i dint feel comfortable doing) to have me discuss with her then and there. Then my wife discussed with him further in the doorway and said she wanted to discuss with me. But he wouldn't let up - he kept pushing. When my wife refused the tap replacement or the VIP membership, he insisted on getting her to sign her name on a document, saying it was to confirm the refusal. He then left the house without switching our mains back on. I went outside to switch the mains on and he was sitting in his ute again. Upon switching the mains back on, it was clear that he had opened the tap to have water running, on the tap that we couldn't switch off (when he arrived tap was closed/switched off). As he was in his ute, I asked him if he could switch the tap off using the tools he had used to open the tap up. He said he opened the tap because he needed to do a pressure test and now couldn't close the tap because the washer was broken. He said he could replace the tap for $240 though. Washer in fact was not broken - his waiting for us to come out to switch the mains on and say that he couldn't close the water off, seems to be another tactic to try and get us to pay for a new tap.

On a very hot 42C day my evaporative cooler broke. Rang them because they offered same day service and promised a discount of $100 if they were late. Rang them back with 15m to go -- they said the driver was on his way. I asked them to check again. Then they said he wasn't on his way as he had a medical emergency. I asked why he hadn't notified them or me. No answer to that. They sent out someone else the next day. He said the fuse was blown and put in a 10 amp fuse, which fixed the problem for one week, when the fuse blew again. The charge was $250 minus the $100 discount. I then rang Breezair and discovered it should've been a 12 amp fuse. I rang another mob who came out and put in a 12 amp fuse and the system has been working since then. I rang back Comfy and asked for a refund as they had installed the wrong amp fuse. They refused. Not my idea of a company to recommend to anyone.

Evap air con was completely dead had tech out Luke he was excellent gave options as it was a complex issue with lots of parts broken and installed incorrectly by precious owners. With an additional unexpected issue that arose Kyle went the extra mile to get the job done in a short period of time in a cost effective manner excellent passion and care for his customers definitely recommend to others
In Adelaide, I rang this mob as My Ducted RC Air was not working, (this is the short version) They said they will send someone 8am, - no one came - rang office - they apologised and we made an appointment next day. Next day they sent a gas plumber to the job - he couldn't do that much, as I don't have gas - My RC Air needed fixing - he arrange for the AC repair guy to come. Few days later the AC repair guy came and told me I needed to replace my Indoor PC board, Room thermistor and pipe Thermistor, quote $880 including GST. Ok I thought has to be done getting cold this time of year so had no choice do I? anyway week went by - contacted the guy - when are the parts arriving? - waiting to hear from wholesales call you tomorrow - no call - one week later - any news on the parts? - no reply - still waiting on wholesaler. One week later - any chance of the part coming? His reply I'm not at work this week, I'll call them and find out - no response. One week later - are you interested in fixing? Sorry fair enough if you get someone else to fix, they sent to wrong location, parts still a week away, to this day have not heard from this mob yet - parts must be still coming I assume - probably sent around the word a few times - lost in transit! That's about a month of me freezing my butt off. Never heard from this mob again. It's a good thing I didn't as I would have wasted my $880 because the real problem was no refrigerant in the system. There was NOTHING wrong with my Indoor PC board, Room thermistor and pipe Thermistor. After this debacle I got the guy who installed it 5 years ago - a real professional - he came - identified the problem quickly and fixed it all in a few hours $660 including 3kgs of refrigerant. Anyway that's my story - up to you if you want to use these guys -I did and it cost me $88 call out fee and being stuffed around a lot , but now looking back i feel lucky it didn't cost me a lot more.
Jason advised and suggested we have reverse cycle air conditioning as our gas supply was inadequate to have a gas space heater. He was very professional in his manner and knowledgeable. Paul, Chris and Kerrod arrived to install the air conditioning and we found them also very polite in their mannerisms and professional in their work. They also cleaned up after completion of their work. We would have no hesitation in recommending ComfyFirst....Well done .....
