would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS recommend this company to anyone. first of all the supplied 3/4 of the lawn needed then a week later come back and lay the rest. the whole front yard roll on turf was laid with no prep work no soil conditioner nothing just laid straight on top of sand not to mention being supplied FULL of weeds. After complaining for months one of their workers was sent out to access the disaster he recommended it all be pulled up and started again. [Name Removed] then came out and tried covering our eyes by telling us conditioner was laid down even tho my partner and i where both home and even asked if we needed to put anything down prior to the reply of no the soil is very clayey (building sand on a new build) watching them roll the turf onto sand [Name Removed] would not listen and i then had to pull a roll up to prove to him. lucky because the roots still hadn't taken 12 weeks on but again [Name Removed] was not having it (will only listen to his own voice) then agreed to repair the issue of having the workers fix the poor workmanship of spraying abit of weed and feed to which the worker was not sure how to use the siphoning function of the bottle so basically sprayed the lawn with water and left. [Name Removed] also claimed he would have the workers weed the lawn but instead sent out a lawn mowing business to mow over the weeds so i then also had to spend 4 hours weeding the poor excuse of lawn for them to get ontop of the weeds prior to the mower spreading the seeds around. As good old [Name Removed] said he would also have it top dressed the highly unprofessional kids he sent around scattered a few bags on only the dead sections of lawn (considering there was nothing laid under the whole lawn). As they had come to the door to say they had done my partner was discussing the whole lawn was to be top dressed the 2 unsuspecting kids in the truck point laughing and videoing my partner where also being watched by security cameras and family friends inside. Instant gardens are no only unprofessional unreliable but have no pride in there work. all they want to do is steal your money and leave you with a poor product and workmanship... NEVER USE THIS COMPANY Picture is 3 weeks after lawn was laid. Over 100m² just like this...

After having Instant Gardens design and install my front garden, it becomes apparent after several months why you should NOT choose this company. The pre sale service is excellent, however the actual products and workmanship will result in a very poor looking garden after a while. Once they have your money, they will forget about you and will try to use blame and avoid tactics to avoid any follow up service. Here are some reasons why they did such a poor job on our yard. 1. Lawn - they do not remove any soil but just level it and dump the new lawn straight on top with a bit of fertiliser underneath (for poor and sandy soils, your lawn will die off after a few months) and any small stones they just leave in the ground which further harms the lawn. They upsold me better grass at a premium price but because it was not prepared properly it just dies off (regardless of how much water, fertiliser and aeration I used). 2. Reticulation - they use poor quality materials that fall apart after a few months, and the main reticulation pipes they do not bury deep enough so if it rains they will end up just lying on top of your garden ready to break or pull apart if anyone steps on them. 3 Pavers - Poor quality pavers used (I upgraded these ones at a price of 15 or 20 dollars extra per stone! And they just break when you walk on them under an average person (they will not replace any defective ones) 4. Stone gardens - they do not bother to lay a few dollars worth of matting under the stones because they don't think it's worth it (as they told me over the phone), and they lay the bare minimum of stone to save money so your stones sink down under the sand and your original builders sand just floats up over them after a while. You are much better off doing this yourself. 5. After sales service - once they have your money, they pretend they are dealing with any problems, but actually never get back to you. If you call them, they use blame and avoid strategies and are adamant that their contractors are perfect and it's all the customers fault by poor maintenance. The truth is - a poor quality garden requires more maintenance and breaks apart easily. My yard has very little traffic, nobody walks on the grass and yet it still manages to fall apart even though I maintain it. I fertilise, aerate the lawn, do the weeding and find it a fight against poor quality materials and workmanship. Do not be fooled into going with this company - they are poor and there are much more professional choices out there. This company survives on the "free" landscaping packages it gets awarded from developers and unfortunately it's the package that costs them the least that is the worst for the customer who gets ripped off as one would expect by a company who can't guarantee their own work.

I recently had these cowboys out to fix my sprinklers the quote was $360 to fix 11 but they only needed to do four and still tried to charge the full amount saying the job took 4 hours to change 4 sprinklers so we eventually agreed a price as they were caught out on their own lies after all that a week later the sprinklers don't work iv sent an email with a video attached to illustrate the problem but they refuse to reply I urge anybody intending to use this company to look elsewhere

I was initially very happy with Instant Gardens for working with my estate to provide landscaping packages, free quote for the back and a simple yet lovely design. Then came minor issues with the paperwork, I thought no big deal, it happens you know? Then $700 to change from one type of paver to another in the same range. Then during install poor communication about days they were on site (extra problem as I have a dog!) and every time they emailed me it was a different person so a lot of messages went to junk. Poor workmanship as well - eg. I had the Rangers called to my house because they had dumped sand etc in the middle of the road with no markers!! then cleaning up after themselves caused a delay nobody told me about and it was just pure chance I home to stop my dog getting out. And after all that a very poor, thin and unfinished mulching job and so, so many problems with the reticulation including water coming out of the footpath! I have been hand watering for most of my sprinkler exemption period to avoid throwing 100s Ls away watering concrete. I asked them for help which they are technically now giving but I constantly have to follow up, constantly poor communication, and even though they were literally here “fixing” it on Friday one of the sprinklers is busted again already. A huge waste of time (and water!) I don’t recommend them in the slightest and will be writing to the estate who uses them advising them of same.

My Daughter had instant gardens to landscape her back garden , they have done a wonderful Job. The landscapers were really nice guys very polite and very helpful , they worked hard , and the back yard looks beautiful . I would highly recommenced this company . Julie Robson
