Henri van Riet Architect was established as an architectural practice in Brisbane in 1992. As a small architectural firm, we specialise in home designs and renovations. With total project knowledge by one person - the architect, all work is well planned and streamlined. The practice has a strong interest in creating sustainable, affordable and efficient, beautiful architecture through careful spatial planning, appropriate choices of materials and ultimately responding to both the site and local climatic conditions. Using a traditional contract system for the construction stage of a project, Henri and his staff are able to manage and oversee every stage of the design and construction process, allowing a fair and mediated relationship between the client, architect and builder.
