GKA Architects is a dynamic architectural studio founded in 2013 by Asher Greenwood, servicing clients in Melbourne. GKA Architects is engaged in a wide range of different project types including residential, commercial, and community buildings. Based in the inner northern city suburbs of Northcote and Thornbury, our projects range across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria, and Tasmania. Our team of motivated and experienced architects and interior designers is focused on delivering a high level of service to our clients while maintaining a strong sense of community and environmental responsibility within every project. We specialise in architecturally designed bespoke homes, effectively utilising space and landscape to deliver high-end results. We are committed to treating each project with care and attention to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. From project conception, master planning, sketch design, contract documentation through to project procurement, we offer a full range of architectural, urban design and interior design solutions to our clients. Fundamental to our process is the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), drawing from 20 years of experience in using 3D computer modeling tools in the design and documentation process of buildings. This enables GKA Architects to work efficiently on a wide range of different project sizes while maintaining a studio-style practice. Our approach from the outset involves a rigorous analysis of the project brief and the opportunities presented by the site. From that initial analysis, design solutions are formulated that provide built form and spatial solutions that are specific for each project.
