Replaced our solar/gas hot water service with a 271 litre IStore heat pump. Water from the old one was giving us different water temperature noticeble during showers. Darebin Trade Services was recommended by a friend who had his installed sometime ago. It was great to have the whole rebate process taken care of by Darebin Trade Services. From the moment I requested a quote to the final installation, Darebin Trade Services provided a stress free and smooth process. It only took less than 10 days from the time I made enquiries, getting the Solar Vic rebate approved and installation done. Stephen and Lachlan did a wonderful job. They were punctual and the installation took less time than I thought. The site was left spotless.They are a professional company, which I wholeheartedly can recommend.

I got in touch with Darebin Trade Services after I'd seen good reviews on a Facebook group page I belonged to. Nick, the General Manager, came out quickly to provide an onsite quote as I had a complex install to do. I wanted to replace an old gas-boosted solar hot water service and replace it with a Reclaim heat pump system. I had received one quote already from a trusted (by me) provider, but I wanted to do my due diligence and get another one. Darebin came in slightly cheaper and had good reviews, and Nick responded quickly to my email query, so my first impressions were good. After I received the quote, I made a few changes, so they made those adjustments to the quote and put the request in to the manufacturer ASAP after it was approved. Unfortunately the tank deliver took longer than expected (I'm not sure if it was because it was a narrower version to fit the space it had to go into), but once it arrived they booked my install quickly. Stephen, Dom and the rest of the team did a great job in removing the old system and putting in the new one. As the tank and condenser had to be put across the path that runs down the side of our house, near our fence, they had to go under the path and back out again to make all the necessary connections. As you can see by the photos, the job looks neat and tidy, and they took care to put the timber border of the garden bed back once they installed the condenser. As I had to leave early to catch a flight the day of the install, I had a few follow-up questions, which Nick responded to quickly. I also, coincidentally, developed an NBN issue the same day and his electricians took the time to come back to the site after I got back to Melbourne to see if their work had somehow interrupted my connection. We all agreed it wasn't anything they had done and NBN are coming out to replace my router. While the job took a bit longer than I had hoped, the outcome was great and the system is working as it should (and is amazingly quiet), and I wouldn't hesitate to get in touch with Nick/Darebin Trade again if I have any questions or another install done.

Service on ducted cooling. Arrived when they said they would, carried out the service without any fuss or mess. You can definitely tell the difference since the service. We had left it a while but it performs much better now.

I’m very happy with the servicing and pad replacement on our Evap Cooler which was done on arranged time. Followed by the replacement of the fan motor on our ducted heater all done promptly. Very good job

Excellent service once again from Hamish took a few tries but he was determined to get our problem sorted. Such a great tradesman. We are very happy with his work and the contact from Darebin Services who we have been using for years.
