Jetset Plumbing

End of last year while filling our under mount sink it popped and dropped. Our home builder had not put under sink mounts on to keep this from happening. Not know who to contact I reached out to Jetset Plumbing (who I had previously used) to get a quote. They sent their plumber out who mentioned when arriving: 1 - Nice house 2 - nice pool 3 - Lovely tap ware (Grohe). Took a picture behind the sink. Mentioned needed to replace the tap, he’d need two visits to fix the sink, and of course replace the centre part of the sink as well (which admittedly was dirty but not a reason to replace) I asked if he could give a price with and without the tap. When he returned he showed me the quote of $930 and three cheap taps he had available in his van. I asked if he could remove the tap how much would it be, he said that was for the tap only! The price for the sink (to reattach, not a new sink and no stone cutting) would be $2379.20. I quickly ushered him out where he asked how much would I pay. After explaining to him what my expectation was and his quote so far apart I wouldn’t insult him. He then took $200 off. Still sent him out. I rang the office to ask for a breakdown of the quote which they refused to give as they said this was a fixed price. If they had to spend more hours then there was no extra cost. However I would not have known what hours they charged for. I also highlighted something must have been calculated, as a fixed cost for me is $2200 or $1500 not $2379.20. They told me I had a program of work. However no cost of labour, parts anything. So clearly the quote had not been based on work to carry out but how much they thought I could afford. I had another plumber and a kitchen fitter give quotes for the same job $550 and $460. So can’t imagine which quotes are realistic. Jetset don’t give breakdowns as they would have to show their markup their plumbers put on as they rely on the sales part of their job. How many people pay without questioning or getting other quotes? My advice is if you think Jetsets quotes are excessive shop around and guarantee you’ll find others at least 50-60% cheaper. Final note, Jetset plumbing said they contacted the plumber to find out about what had happened but what was hilarious the plumber contacted me a week later and asked if I wanted to carry out the worked based on the original quote. Either the plumber was tin deaf or the office didn’t contact him as mentioned.

Rhys was professional and efficient. This is the second time we have had him out. He arrived on time New Year's Eve, explained everything throughly for the repair. He is organising for all the parts to be sourced and will be back next week to fit the new parts. Took all the stress and hassle out of doing repairs over the end of year break. Highly Recommend. We have now been customers of Jetset Plumbing and Electrical for over 3 years and have just recently completed our 8th job with them. Since building our home in 2018, we have dealt with many companies and trades and nothing compares to that of the outstanding customer service and tradesman from the Jetset team! I would like to express how truly grateful we are for the above revolutionary works you completed to the utmost highest standards, which has also fixed our water pressure issues throughout our entire home. We knew it was bad, but didn't realise how bad until you fixed it. To all our boys, we can't thank you enough, for all your hard work and for always going above and beyond, exceeding expectations at every job you undertake! You truly all are the legends and superstars of your trade and the industry you work within! The Jetset team have become very much a part of our family, as we are of theirs. Jetset Plumbing are my go-to for any plumbing work for my home. Easy to deal with and turn up when they say they will. My job yesterday was done by Andrew and George and they did the work in the time that was set so that the costs were as agreed, they clearly explained the issues and made recommendations as well as leaving the place clean and tidy. I highly recommend Jetset on all my experiences so far.

Once again we required the services of Jetset Plumbing to do a complete sewerage system upgrade. Jem used a camera/video to show the blockage and clearly explained what needed to be done to fix it for the long term.  Thank you to Jem for coordinating and to Rhys, Jacob, Jakob and all the extras that showed up to contribute and get this job done.  Many thanks to Rhys who was here for 2 days finishing the job. He was punctual, polite and professional throughout the process. I'm very impressed with his skills and attitude.  He certainly took pride in his work and it is very evident in the final result.  He did an exceptional job and made sure that everything was left clean when he was finished.  Very happy with the quality of the work and would highly recommend Jetset Plumbing.

I recently used JetSet Plumbing to address a significant blockage in my home's piping system, and I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and quality of work. Our plumber, Jem, was truly outstanding from start to finish. His great camera analysis of the situation, quickly pinpointing the root cause of the issue rather than just treating the symptoms. The subsequent problem evaluation was thorough and clearly communicated, leaving me with a complete understanding of what needed to be done. The service execution was excellent, working to flush out the pipes and clear the blockages (tree roots, dirt, leaves, etc.) Beyond the immediate repair, he proposed a valid and appropriate long-term solution to prevent recurrence, which shows a commitment to genuine service rather than just a quick fix.

I am extremely frustrated with the service provided by this plumbing company. I had issued with my Rheem hot water system with slower than usual hot water flow across the house. I rang a couple of plumber around my areas and Jetset Plumbing returned and sent someone in fairly quickly. However, this is how my nightmare began!!! Timeline as followed: 7 Oct 2025: Two gentlemen from Jetset Plumbing came in and provided a quote (see photos), paid on spot and work began. The quote stated "Remove debris or mineral buildup" and replacing a number of parts, costing nearly A$1,300. A brand new machine is slightly shy of A$1,500. Hot water flow slightly better than before after the work. 14 Oct 2025: Facing the same issue again with even slower hot water flow than before the fix. Rang Jetset Plumbing, they sent someone in on 16 Oct 2025. 16 Oct 2025: Another gentleman came in, replacing a few parts, nothing was fixed, suspects to be a bend hot water outlet pipe in the wall, and provided a quote to install water filtration system. Hot water continue to flow fairly slow comparing before any of the fix. The gentleman left without fixing anything. 17 Oct 2025: Rang the office again, book in another appointment on the 21st Oct 2025 (between 9am - 11am), no one came in, received a call at 2pm saying that the plumber will not be coming in. Totally not happy at this point. So rang the office and rebook another appointment on the 31 Oct 2025 (9am - 11am). 31 Oct 2025: Took another day off, and the same guy who attended the site 16 Oct 2025 came in literally at 430pm, so I have waited the whole day again. Came in fixing here and there, no parts was replaced, and exclude the possibility of bend hot water pipe behind the wall, and claim that this is not their problem, and they have done what was quoted. However, hot water wasn’t fixed. What was the most ridiculously hard to believe is that he gave me another quote (see photo) of A$650 to remove debris or mineral buildup in the system by draining the whole system, of which I thought this should be done in the first quote... In conclusion, I have rang Rheem technician of whom will charge a call out fee, and I have agreed to this as I think they will at least honour their work rather than this business of whom seem to me trying to rip me off. I will recommend anyone to be cautious to what you have been quoted and most importantly the service quality and workmanship.

Rhys, Windham and team just sorted out some partially blocked drains. It turned into a big job. I was very impressed with the quality of the job they performed. Very professional, good customer service, and careful workmanship. Very happy.
