We got quotes from a lot of other builders but ultimately went with MGN builders since Nick and George are a family run business, and unlike a lot of the others Nick wasn't pushy and has a Daniel Ricciardo joy about his character and you want that kind of positive vibe on your work site. We haven't regretted it. They've been great, from contract quotes, to explaining the Reno and gave us a really reasonable quote for a New ensuite build and renovating an existing bathroom which was much cheaper than other builders. For our job we organised all the tiles/bath/vanities etc but Nick explained each step along the way and clearly talked through the process and costs. They were also happy with go along with our design choices but have good advice along the way to make changes to better structurally help the build. Dylan was the plumber and did an amazing job refitting the plumbing as the old bathroom had unforseen bad plumbing. George is the electrician and did the lighting for us. The build did take a month for both bathrooms but timeframe was pushed out due to Easter. There were some extras in costs but Nick explained everything along the way since you can never predict what lies underneath your house. The end result I'm really happy with, it looks just like the design I had in mind. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for another Reno they're top blokes! Anita

I hired MGN Services for a major bathroom and hallway renovation, it's a family business so they do work well together. Although told it would be finished in two weeks it did go over this time for various reasons, but that did not concern me too much as they were not only very easy to talk with in regard to the job and my requirements for the bathroom, but they were also helpful with suggestions and also happy to listen to my requests, which I really appreciated and this made for a more relaxed and comfortable renovation. Also, Nick and George were always good mannered and considerate, accepting and understanding that it's not easy living in your home when having to put up with noise, dusty conditions and workers disturbing your privacy, fortunately I found all their workers to be considerate, honest and trustworthy in my home which was very important to us after the bad experience of dishonest workers from the previous building company who worked in our house. The end result is that we now have a modern looking updated bathroom and it was completed for a reasonable overall cost, and not too much stress, so my wife and I are now very happy with our new bathroom, I can recommend MGN Services for any home renovations and at a reasonable cost.
