At RMR Architects we strive to craft beautiful, livable homes that will delight you for a lifetime. We like working collaboratively with our clients. We ask many questions and take lots of notes. This helps us to get a sense of what the project is about, and to address key issues and deliver on the smallest requirements. With all our projects large or small, our aim is to find out how you imagine your home and how you would like to live in it. Our role is to facilitate that – through design. For us design does not stop at the beginning of our process. It continues from the initial spatial sketches to developing the design, problem solving and resolving the smallest details in working drawings through to construction. The outcome is a home that creates a sense of belonging, that is responsive to its context, addresses the challenges of climate and a building of beauty. We believe design can impact well being. So for us, every project is an opportunity to create beautiful places that enrich and sustain the human spirit. We believe service delivery must be thorough to achieve successful outcomes. From the earliest stages we familiarise ourselves with the site, its context, its constraints and potential in terms of orientation, views, topography, neighbouring properties etc. We are committed to applying practical and environmentally sustainable design principals that respond creatively to spatial planning, building controls, planning guidelines and budget. Together with client collaboration, this allows us to achieve great outcomes for all projects.
