"My journey with Easystart Homes (Summit Homes Group) has been very positive and the main contributing factor are the team members I had the pleasure of having on my team. Hannah - my New Homes Consultant. Hannah's approachable nature where no question was a bother (and believe me, I had many) is what attracted me to choose Easystart Homes as my builder. Hannah's personal and expert knowledge during the design phase of the house structure was very much appreciated and well received. Jason - my Pre-Construction Coordinator was very thorough. His attention to detail matched mine. I very much appreciated the time that was spent during my Pre-Start meeting. I never felt rushed, which was so nice because there were a multitude of important decisions to be made about the house design. Jason reviewed each selection with me, providing explanations as needed and providing constructive input. No question was a bother. Jason is friendly, approachable, and honest, and he expressed appreciation for the stress and importance of all the decisions being made. Deborah - my Construction Liaison. For the duration of the build, Deb always responded promptly and obtained answers for my questions. I could feel that she cared about me and my home that was being built. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person during Key Handover, which was super nice to put a face to the name. She is a person that you definitely want on your Build Team. Hayden was my longest-reigning Site Supervisor and his building knowledge helped me out a lot with identifying defects in the house during PCI (practical completion inspection). I met with him 2-3 times on site. Thank you very much Hannah, Jason, Deb and Hayden. You are a Dream Team for my Build Team. I have very much appreciated your work ethic and caring/advocating approach to me as the client. As for the workmanship of internal works of the house, there were a number facets spotted that I was not so pleased about and required hard cleaning and some parts that I've not been able to remove. Such as paint splatter on the window frames, skirting boards, and hybrid flooring; silicon on the tiles that I cannot seem to remove despite purchasing various products. Easystart Homes DO have a service/repair service on their Portal -- this allows the client to report "urgent" defects where tradespeople are allocated quite promptly to address the matter, however this has required me to take days off work. And the defect liability period is only 6 months from the first PCI meeting, rather than Key Handover. Easystart Homes offer a 12 month build guarantee (which they met with 2 months to spare) and the prices are fixed from the date of signing the contract, which was fantastic. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend Easystart Homes as a builder. They have a very large show room which was very beneficial to access."
"I engaged Easystart Hoes (a division of Summit) in early 2025 to build my future property. The Sales Consultant (Robert Hewerson) that looked after me was excellent. I made several changes to the plans, all of which were accommodated and handed throughly and without delay. I was very happy with the sales process, it was no hard sell, just helpful answers to my questions. Robert was always available, quick to respond to any queries and was a pleasure to work with. The sales process was further elevated with the involvement of Tania Dukes from "Exclusive Concepts. Tania is Robert's partner in this area of the business, and was of huge assistance in the selection of colours, tiles, benchtops, tapware, doors.... pretty much everything that goes into a new home. Tania attended a number of suppliers with me and also attended the product selection meetings at Summit in Myaree. I was very grateful for her attention to detail on a number of occasions. The slab went down in mid May 2025, the "slab party" was held thanks to Robert and Tania. I was confidant that I was in good hands and had made a great decision to use Easystart Homes. The following day I departed on a 7 month trip around Australia whilst the build was underway. Throughout this time I would use the Client Portal to see what progress was being made. I was also introduced to Deborah Morris, the Easystart Homes Construction Liaison Representative assigned to my job. Deb was in contact every 2-3 weeks with a progress update. This was very re-assuring for me throughout my travels. She oversaw the updates to the Client Portal, especially the photos and milestones of events and milestones that had been achieved. Deb did a terrific job and was always quick with a response to any queries I had. The Client Portal is an excellent tool for all. I must also add that throughout the build I was additionally supplied with property progress photos from Tania Dukes and Robert Hewerson. This was further re-assurance that all was OK and there was ongoing follow-up. As I was travelling I was very grateful for these updates. My grateful thanks to Tania and Robert again. Tahlia Paul form Inclusive Concepts was also now involved to assist when required with the property landscaping and other duties. The build was progressing well, faster than I anticipated. I arrived back in Madora Bay in early December, to find the property nearing completion. I was very excited to see the property for the first time, in person. As expected things slowed down over the Christmas break. Deb Morris was in regular contact, and by mid January Robert and Tania accompanied me for an informal viewing. It was first formal inspection with the building supervisor, Josh, went very well. There was little to comment on or rectify, Josh was clearly on top of the build progress and I was impressed with his professional approach and positive attitude. Nothing was a problem, he was very helpful and explained many of the property features to me. The second formal inspection with Josh went as expected and I collected the keys from Summit in Myaree later that day. At this meeting I finally met Deb Morris, and was able to thank her for the work she performed in keeping me advised of progress. In summary, the whole process from property selection, pricing, pre-start selections, building progress updates, regular communication and finally key handover was excellent. This was a great example of excellence in customer service. My grateful thanks to Robert, Tania, Deborah, Josh and Tahlia for their work and ongoing follow-up. My thanks also to the workers that built the property. They have done a terrific job. Needless to say, I would thoroughly recommend Easystart Homes (Summit) to any prospective buyer. "Our recent pre-start experience with Breanna Letizia was absolutely outstanding and far beyond what we expected — especially when compared to our first build experience, which was honestly quite poor. From the very beginning, Breanna made the entire process smooth, organized, and stress-free. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us make the right decisions for our home. Every question we had was answered clearly and promptly, and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and supported at every step. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience — Breanna turned what can often be a stressful part of the process into something we truly enjoyed. The Prestart process was very well organised and professional. Hannah provided clear communication and made everything smooth and easy to understand. Our sincere gratitude with Easystart Sales Manager Craig Padfield for helping and supporting us with our second home this time with Easystart home. We are on a tight schedule in producing contract for our finance and Craig make sure that we can make it on time. He is very extra helpful and is very professional. Our big gratitude as well to Yvonne Pangler who have done our amazing house design. She was very knowledgeable and is always suggesting a best option. Building my first home with Easy Start Homes has been such a smooth and exciting experience from start to finish! From the beginning, my consultant Shawn guided me through every step, helping me make the right decisions and making sure I understood all my options. He was patient, transparent, and always had my best interests in mind. Ryan made the finance process stress-free — he explained everything clearly and helped me get everything sorted quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated how easy he made what could have been a daunting part of the journey. Once construction began, Jose, my supervisor, was fantastic. He kept me updated throughout the build, answered my questions promptly, and made sure everything stayed on track. The quality and attention to detail in the finished home are amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the entire team at Easy Start Homes — they truly made my home-building journey enjoyable and worry-free. Highly recommend them to anyone thinking about building their own home!
Jason was a great pre-start consultant. He was thorough and went over every detail of my plans and selections making sure the selections I made were accurate. He was very patient as well and happy to answer any questions/clarify any concerns I had.
Amazing experience so far. Our Sales rep, Tom Reindl was phenomenal to work with. He was super transparent from the beginning, and worked really hard to help us create the most amazing build. He was very accurate with quoting and setting our expectations so we had no surprises when costings were finalised. Very happy. I was blown away with the selections, and so far we’ve had no delays. really looking forward to starting construction.
