Don't use Thomaston Harvey Norman for flooring!! Fahad was our salesman through this entire debacle. We had our flooring laid three years ago. It all buckled. The manufacturer came out and advised the installation was the cause. Harvey Norman argued the case saying the issue was with our slab. We paid for a building inspector to give his opinion. A four page report from him explaining the issue was with the installers sub flooring. Harvey Norman could no longer get out of upholding our warranty. We chose new flooring. There was no professional conduct from Harvey Norman or the installers. We had to continuously follow them up. Farhad the Thomaston Harvey Norman salesman had a habit of saying he will come to our house and just not attend and not call to let us know. The installers are no better. They won't give you a time they're coming and then when you chase them up after staying home half a day they say they are short staffed so will come another day. Zero professionalism from them both. We finally had the new flooring laid and there is an issue!! The floor has air trapped underneath so it cracks and makes noises when you walk on it. You can see, feel.and hear movement under your feet. The installers said the issue was with how the plastic underneath was laid. The solution put to us was that they would lift the new flooring a third time and just take the plastic out. Keep in mind this would then void the manufacturer warranty should anything else go wrong. We sent the installers away and told them to speak to their boss. Harvey Norman salesman from Thomaston finally agreed to request the manufacturer to come out. The manufacturer advised us to give it a couple of months and see if the air naturally comes out and if not to call them back. Not one apology from Fahad the salesman at Harvey Norman Thomaston. Only excuses and no shows. We have been messed around an exponential amount of time, lost days off work, moved our furniture twice, pulled our flooring up twice, had the sub flooring grinded off and redone, a house full of dust and we still have issues. No apologies, no compassion, no compensation, no follow up. That's the treatment you can expect. DO NOT BUY FLOORING FROM HARVEY NORMAN THOMASTON - GO TO A PROPER FLOORING SHOP.. do not allow Harvey Norman to organise installers . The incompetence is very overwhelming.

I was after a product which Will assisted me to purchase plus ensure the best possible outcome was achieved which included price, timeframe, knowledge, customer contact. Harvey Norman Castle Hill have done a 10/10 job on my floors. They took up the old floors in the unit which were warping and water damaged. Grant has levelled the floors to perfection and installed both the timber flooring and skirting to showroom quality. I couldn’t be happier with my new floors. Big thanks Harvey Norman.

The customer service and quality of installation arranged by the Maribyrnong (Highpoint) store has been amazing. The original quote process was super easy. We attended the store and picked out what we wanted, sent in our floor plans and received a quote. We were building a new home and Harvey Norman honoured our quote and stored our flooring until we were ready to install (was about a 6 month delay given the home building crisis). Sally was super helpful everytime we had various questions and they allowed us to make progress payments as we went along. Sally and the team were always super helpful, friendly and professional. The installers for both the hybrid and carpet were fantastic. They arrived on time, showed pride in their work, applied attention to detail and cleaned up after themselves. On the final day of install we had to move in some larger items for our home. The installers were always flexible and worked around other trades and our couriers. Very pleased with the entire process and would recommend the Highpoint store to anyone looking to flooring. Thanks again to the team.

Ordered a Black butt floating floor, installers supposed to start on Monday, 15 May, turned up on Wednesday and half finished the job, today is Saturday 20 May. Disappointed also with the floor, full of fill out knots, some look like smudges.
