Jim's Asbestos Removal

Dominic and his team were very professional, and did a great job on the removal of the asbestos from the ceiling and roof of a garage of my property. He was extremely accommodating in scheduling the work and his price was very competitive. He was always on time for meetings and when the work was undertaken. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for asbestos removal.

Our issue was severe mould inside my grandfather’s rural home. I was incredibly impressed with the service from start to finish. Jamie got in contact very quickly and arranged a time to call, showing genuine understanding and care for the situation. He was accommodating and made every effort to book the job in as soon as possible. Jamie and his team worked for 12 hours and left the house absolutely immaculate. Throughout the process, Jamie was a pleasure to deal with, professional, kind, and very mindful of my grandfather’s vulnerability. I highly recommend this service to anyone needing reliable, thorough, and compassionate mould remediation.

Very dissapointed with Jims asbestos Traralgon. We had undereaves and a couple of walls removed from an investment property. While removing the undereaves, the scotias holding the roof edges were also ripped off. This in turn caused the bedding of our 3 roof gables to fall out, dislodging roof tiles that then tumbled to the ground and smashed. Its cost us over $3500 in additional roof and scotia repairs so far. When we saw the damage and called Chris, he told us "you should have asked for the care for your home package, and he would've quoted differently" What?? When we contacted the area manager he came back to us and said that "they did the job properly and removed everything that was touching the asbestos because it was an older house." This level of information would have been fantastic in the beginning. To understand that it wasn't just the eves and wall's that were going to be removed, as stated in detail, on the quote received. No further information was provided upfront regarding the additional removal of our scotias. We had zero information that they were going to be ripped off. That our mortar bedding and tiles could even possibly be damaged, and we just have to wear it.. what a slap in the face. We paid $3000 for their job and it's cost us more than that so far to fix the damage caused and the cost was mounting. So much so, that we decided to abandon trying to salvage the roof and we decided the money would be better spent replacing the whole roof with a colourbond one for the trouble the roof had cased us.. Again, more money.. It's been a total nightmare and I would never recommend.

I have recently had 2.5f of flood water through my property. I called Jim's and Was informed by the call centre that I would be contacted by a local hazard team regarding my situation. within 2 hours Jye from Jim's called me and was more that helpful on the phone and took the time to make sure that I understood not only the scope of his job but the health problems the property now presents. Jye made a appointment to come around the next day and was super thorough in his assessment of the property, reinforced the health problems with living in the property and proceeded to navigate with the mindfield of the landlord. The quote was quick, detailed and thorough. The pricing is more than reasonable for the scope of work. The team at Jim's should be proud of the job they do and the services they offer the community. Absolute pleasure to deal with.

Vince from Hazmat Encounters just removed some asbestos panels from our shop boundary wall. Really pleased with his service. I had contacted another local company but never heard back. Vince was in touch quickly, came and inspected the job and quoted (reasonable price although I had no idea what to expect). And then was able to fit in with me on a removal date.
