We have nothing but praise and admiration for the McDonald Jones Oak Flat Building Team, including the husband and wife sales team at Wongawilli. Due to the builds location and other council red tape, it has been a long journey and a difficult build for McDonald Jones. And I want to thank McDonald Jones for their persistence and support in getting the DA over the line. They have been really professional, supportive, empathetic helpfull and patient. And we must say they should be an inspiration to other builders. Their clientele support, communications, easy to talk & deal with, progress photos, and the quality of their workmanship and materials and pricing is all aimed at building and delivering a great and beautiful home for their clients. AND, what a house McDonald Jones is building us...... WOW !!! It is now approaching lock-up stage....and again, WOW !!! I showed my brother, (a structural engineer) photos of the steel-frame of the house McDonald Jones is building us. And he was absolutely impressed and astounded by the amount of steel and steel frame thats gone into the building of the house. As he commented, " Great house to get away from the Big Bad Wolf." I take my hat off, and put the entire McDonald Jones Team at Oak Flats and Wongiwilli up on the highest pedestal, from the beginning to the builds present stage. Our build journey started with the husband and wife sales team at Wongawilli, George and Annslee. They are remarkable, and we soon developed a great rapport. Speaking of which this great rapport was extended right into the whole McDonald Jones Team at Oak Flats. George and Annslee helped and spoke with us about the correct design for our block and working within our budget. They also invited us to the Oak Flats office one evening, where we were shown videos, shown building materials and other construction items like; bench tops, door handles, basins etc. We were also introduced to a lot of other Oak Flat team members. We then had an appointment to meet Ben at the Oak Flat office. Ben was great in helping us make the correct selection choices and styling for all the internals and externals, including appliances, kitchen, bench tops, door handles, cupboards, doors and colours and more.... And the way we chopped and changed, lucky, Ben is a very patient man .... haha ;). And all the other staff at the Oak Flat Office, including the friendly receptionists, Monique, Mrs. Lee, Allison, Bella G., and every single team member quietly working at back of house on plans, designs, sorting out council DA's etc etc. Thank you all for your professionalism and dedication. After starting construction last October, the build has been full steam ahead. Great progress has been acheived and just about to lock up stage and we are so .... very excited !! Thanks to the two great building supervisors; namely George Pastrovic and Cameron Dagger. Thank you both for keeping us updated with your consistent uploading of progress photos to our profile. Great communication skills and general easy to work and get a long with attitude. Both George and Cameron have shown great professionalism and skills as building supervisors, liasoning with us and contractors. Ours was not an easy build, due to its difficult location. However, due to George and Cameron's tenacity and the support of the entire Oak Flat's Team, many issues and problems, were overcome. Again, I thank you all, for building our dream home come to fruition. We also would like to say a BIG Thank You to all the contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers that McDonald Jones have chosen to contribute towards our build. They are the quiet achievers and they have been picked by McDonald Jones for their professionalism, and quality in workmanship. And finally a big thank you also, to the McDonald Jones CEO Rob Douglas and all managers for running a great Building Company like McDonald Jones for your; Customer Service, Innovation, Building Designs and Plans, Professionalism, Flexability and making McDonald Jones Homes an Inspiration To Other Builders, that they could only wish to strive for, and setting a great standard for these other builders to strive for. My wife and I have said it before, and we'll keep on saying it, " McDonalds Jones Is Too Good To Be True. Amazingly It's All True !!! And to cap it off, again: Thank You So Much McDonald Jones

We first headed to McDonald's Jones at Braemar simply to look at display homes on the way to visiting our aunty. However, after sitting with Jack who was super insightful and transparent we decided to start the process again after horrible experiences with another builder. This is our first build and after getting Jack to amend our floorplan 20 times, he was still incredibly patient. And then after meeting again and completely scrapping that floorplan and doing a new one, he communicated consistently which we have now signed a tender on. We have just sat with Tracey to confirm our structure and windows, and she was very professional. There was no blabber, just great recommedations ensuring our plans were right for us. We are very excited for the design process and our land to register to start the construction process with McDonald's Jones!

I wanted to share my recent experience with McDonald Jones. My home construction was originally scheduled to begin in February/March this year. However, in December I was diagnosed with a life‑threatening health condition, and I immediately requested to pause the build. McDonald Jones responded with genuine care — they agreed to pause the project, wished me a speedy recovery, and never pressured me to proceed until I was ready. Although I recovered from the illness a couple of weeks ago, I still needed an additional 8–10 months to fully regain my strength and organise my finances. I explained this to McDonald Jones, and they kindly granted the extra time without any charges or complications. I honestly don’t believe many other builders would have shown this level of understanding and compassion. I’ve been living in a McDonald Jones home for the past three years, and even now, if I report a defect, they send an inspector within a week. Their after‑care service has been consistently exceptional. I’m truly grateful to McDonald Jones, and I felt it was important to share my genuine feedback.

I would like to thank Lee, Kim and Brannon for their outstanding service and assistance in preparation for my build. Lee and Kim were extremely efficient and went out of their way to rectify an issue I had with getting the bricks I wanted. They worked extremely hard on numerous occasions to assist me with my external colours and provided professional, experienced recommendations. I would also like to thank Brannon for being very supportive and efficient when I reached out to him for advice through the prebuild process. Thanks again Lee, kim and Brannon.

We had a fantastic experience dealing with the My Choice team during our internal and external selection process. Special thanks to Phoebe and Chloe who were excellent and guided us every step of the way (despite the whole process being overwhelming at times). Their eye for detail and honest feedback was refreshing in an industry that has a stigma around trying to get the customer to spend as much as possible. I know you can't choose your consultants, but we would choose them again in a heartbeat.

We had a great experience with Robert who was very helpful and will go one more step to help us with our selection. He had provided all the necessary information that were asked of him and more. I would strongly recommend my friends to him again.

We had an amazing experience working with Liam at McDonald Jones in Forest Reach. From the very beginning, Liam was an absolute pleasure to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us get the best possible outcome for our future home. Even though we haven’t officially started the build, we cannot speak highly enough of the effort and support Liam has already provided. He went above and beyond at every step, taking the time to answer all our questions, explore options with us, and make sure we felt confident and informed throughout the process. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and easy to work with, and Liam truly made what can be a stressful experience feel smooth and exciting. We’re incredibly grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to build their home.

We are based in South Africa- busy with a MJH build in Warnervale , Central Coast. Mitchell Warne and Linda- the start of our MJH journey were both incredible in terms of their knowledge , expertise in the field and professional approach. Lorraine at the My Choice Studio further enhanced our experience with the group guiding us in terms of our internal and electrical finishes- knowledgeable , dynamic and professional. Josh McFarlane was our pre construction co-ordinator and again the service delivery and follow up was excellent. We trust that the remainder of our journey will be equally as good as our initial encounters now that we have been introduced to our Construction Co-ordinator and Supervisor.
