We recently engaged Verto Kitchens for our kitchen installation, and unfortunately our experience has been extremely disappointing. To be clear, there were a few positives: the colour consultant was excellent, the benchtop company communicated well and delivered quality work, and the installer was outstanding (no longer there unfortunately), his workmanship and professionalism were the only aspects that salvaged parts of this project once the work commenced. However, the rest of our journey was marked by repeated failures: Poor communication and planning from the design phase through to installation. We were constantly chasing quotes, updates, and corrections to plans and contracts riddled with errors. Instructions ignored despite being provided in writing, from appliance specifications to finishes and pantry details. Major OH&S concerns: heavy cabinetry and shelving were left to a single installer, posing serious injury risks. My husband felt compelled to help lift units to prevent an accident. This is unacceptable and unsafe. Delays and rework caused by missing components, incorrect orders and incorrect installation, and lack of communication and follow-up by Verto Kitchens, leading to additional costs and rescheduling of our plumber and electrician. The project was well over time. Project management failures forced us, the clients, to act as de facto project managers, rescheduling trades, correcting supply errors, and even assisting the installer on site. We were assigned a project manager but did not hear from him until the very end after repeatedly asking Verto Kitchens for someone to call us and let us know what is going on with out installation. The final straw was Verto’s dismissive communication, at one point we were simply told by their office admin team “we are busy.” For a project of this size and cost, that response reflects an alarming lack of accountability and professionalism. The most concerning part was the response from their senior management highlighted their dismissive approach to customer concerns. In summary: Verto Kitchens did not deliver on their contractual obligations to manage communication, quality assurance, or subcontractors effectively. The end product itself may be fine, but the process was unnecessarily stressful, drawn out, and unsafe. We have undertaken several renovations over the years, many larger in scale than this kitchen. While we acknowledge that every project can face “challenges,” as Verto Kitchens describes them, our experience went well beyond normal hurdles. What we encountered was a clear lack of project management and a consistent pattern of substandard service and communication, falling far short of what was promised and expected for the scope of works. Unless Verto urgently improves its project management, customer service, communication, quality assurance, and OH&S practices, I cannot recommend them. Installing a good kitchen is not enough. Customers are paying a significant amount of money, and Verto Kitchens needs to step up and operate professionally in all aspects.

Very happy with my new Verto kitchen. Great team from showroom staff to designer to installers and accounts personnel. Nadine, the designer helped me with a tricky challenge and the result is great looking and functional. Installers overcame a couple of structural problems that were unforeseen, producing a flawless result. I was happy to have a clear schedule of works set down at the start to enable me to plan my days.
Kitchen looks wonderful with quality cupboards and finishes. Every tradesperson was professional, efficient and helpful. Always easy to contact and any problems were quickly rectified.
We love our new kitchen! From the moment Verto kitchens came out till they finished we were very impressed. During the initial consultation, which was free, David drew the new kitchen from scratch with all exact measurements his attention to detail was so reassuring. I could see exactly what my new kitchen would look like. At the time we had 3 other builders to quote on the same job. Verto were the only ones who gave us an itemized list of everything they were doing and costs involved, the other builders just threw a total number at us. It was a no brainer to have Verto do the job. All the staff and trades people involved were very friendly, polite and respectful, even if something wasn’t their job they would still find out the information for us. I can honestly say that we highly recommend Verto kitchens at Bundall.
From day one there was no Verto Kitchens site manager onsite to coordinate the multiple trades that were engaged and we had no project manager to contact. Two key Verto staff members who visited our site resigned during the installation process, citing confusion within the Verto organisation. Product advice given by Verto led to us choosing an inferior quality sink. Project management and advice on products are the specific services that Verto offered and is the reason we chose to use them. This project has not been managed by Verto professionally. We have been forced to inspect the work and resolve installation problems. We are meant to be on holidays but instead we are dealing with problems caused by Verto's failure to project manage correctly. We have also been requested to make the final payment - even though the kitchen is not finished. We now have an unfinished kitchen and we can only speak to the receptionist as there seems to be STILL no project manager taking control of the kitchen finish.
