Hi, I just received a call from your company today (2 April 2026) at around 3:45 pm. The caller had my phone number and address. I advised that I have not given consent for my personal information to be used for telemarketing. The caller then stated that permission was given by my wife and responded in an inappropriate and offensive manner before ending the call. I would appreciate it if someone could please contact me to clarify this matter. Thank you.

Dealing with MLEC was very easy. Very helpful with rebate issues and installation was fast and clean. Always happy to help when I had a question.
It’s now 6 weeks since we had our 8.8kw and 20kwh Growatt battery with 5kw hybrid inverter installed by MLEC. When shopping around for an installer we got quotes from around 15 companies. When I started looking at reviews from those companies it was apparent the cheapest is not always the best when you need support for your system years later. With the added complexity of batteries I decided it was worth spending a little more to go with a company that had a good track record of service and support and used its own paid staff for installation, not sub contractors. The team of installers was very polite and friendly. Upon stating it was discovered that the position we had planned to install the battery and inverter wasn’t suitable due to a change in the safety rules around the distance they needed to be from other utilities. The installers were excellent at working with me at finding an alternative position that ended up being much better protected and while it created more work for them (further from the switchboard) there was no additional charge for the additional work it caused them. They removed my old 2kw solar and replaced with new 8.8kw system and hooked up the 20kwh of Growatt batteries in one day. Growatt were very helpful in the phone with the installer helping him to problem solve some issues which gave me great confidence that Growatt have technical support for the companies that install them. The installation team ensured I was happy with the installation before leaving, explaining all the features of the app and inverter display. We did end up having an issue with too much load when charging both our EV’s and emailed MLEC. They returned within 24 hours and changed the switchboard configuration to spread the load across our 3 phases which fixed the issue. This was a great test of their service promise and they passed first time! The Shine App which comes with the Growatt setup is excellent. I’ve seen a number of other solar system apps and this one is mix more detailed allowing you to really dig down into the system statistics and live information. One of the benefits of the hybrid inverter setup is even when we are using the full 5kw of AC power the balance of the DC power generated by the panels still feeds to the batteries, so you’re getting more benefit of an oversized solar panel setup. We only use about 2-3kwh of the battery overnight so often we setup one of our EVs on a trickle charger over night if we want to take 10-15kwh and put in the the EV. The battery is usually full again by 10 to 11am. I highly recommend both MLEC as a company and the Growatt battery/inverter system.
Through Solar Quotes, MLEC had the best resources, which gave us confidence in a high-quality solar installation and ongoing support. The installation team also had an apprentice, so they are investing in the future. We now have our second solar system using Solar Quotes recommended companies..

Dan and his team were very professional and the job proceeded smoothly in less than a day.
Arrived as specified very professional. Each had a designated job & did not stop until completed. Cleaned up after finishing job.
Friendly team great workmanship neat and tidy done an excellent job and great back up
The three installers were top rate, very experienced and professional. Job done in under five hours. We are delighted to have used your company, right from the start when we met Julian and discussed the whole the installation. Hopefully now we can look forward to cheaper power rates. Chris and Susan Ledger.
Excellent service from start to finish. Thank you to Marcus for the good advice and support in determining the right products and Robbie, Aiden and Jacb for their professionalism and diligence. I highly recommend them.
Guys where on time, did excellent job very neat and tidy
The Growatt branded batteries are not reliable. Also the after sales service of MLEC Solar is questionable. My battery is having a recurring fault which the team is trying to solve distantly with Growatt's help but Growatt is not easily accessible. Also MLEC does not have readily available technicians for troubleshooting in all states of Australia. They are mainly WA centred.
Guys at MLEC were awesome after installing a massive 90kw system on our business they were very prompt and well priced. Would highly recommend them for any solar or electrical needs
The Team who installed the Solar system and battery / inverter were very detailed. Installation was done to a high standard, even running through the App with us prior to leaving. Cleanup was completed to a high standard. I would certainly recommend MLEC to anyone looking at a quality system and install
They were prompt and were so quick getting the old ones down and then putting up the new ones. The photo will give you an Idea of why it was a change but not to them
MLEC Solar installed a 14.96 kW domestic system with 34 Jinko panels, a Fronius Symo GEN24 10.0 Inverter and 3x BYD HVM 2.76 batteries. The sales people and installers were prompt, polite and knowledgeable *apart from one little hiccup! The price as competitive with the other quotes I received and once the different rebates were taken into account, it was a a good deal. *the hiccup was that the inverter and the battery were not communicating properly once installed, which was due to the inverter only working with 4 or more battery units and we were advised that 3 would perform adequately. MLEC installed a 4th battery unit at close to cost price, so we ended up with more battery capacity in order to solve the problem. They were very apologetic and I didn't feel too annoyed about the whole thing - I'm sure that intercompatibility issues with different company's products must be a nightmare to work out in a rapidly changing and developing field.
This was a replacement of a 11 year old system to a much bigger unit with 15Kw battery backup. I was given the choice of where to install the Inverter and batteries but I decided to have it installed where my original Inverter was anyway. The 4 guys worked as a team, in the garage, on the roof , at the meter box. Only snag was a damaged Solar panel, but another 1 was found at the workshop and bought around to finish the job. I was given the run through of the App to download on my phone for the Wifi connection and a quick idea of what I was looking at. Finished by 2.30pm. Great job.
