Clean & Dry Carpet Cleaning

ZERO rating for Clean & Dry Carpet Cleaning due to an incident involving damage to our laminate flooring in February 2024. While cleaning carpets in other rooms, a technician placed the carpet cleaning machine on the entrance hallway laminate flooring without protection, causing water damage. We contacted them the same evening with photos of the damage and requested their insurance details to make a claim. They did not provide the insurance details, leading us to suspect they may not have had insurance. Unfortunately, our own insurance did not cover damage from portable water devices. After multiple emails, Clean & Dry agreed only to replace the specific damaged boards and they requested we find out the product number for them (we had to do the leg work!). The flooring supplier confirmed that the specific laminate was discontinued so we advised Clean & Dry that new laminate flooring was required, and that, as per advice received from three reputable flooring suppliers, replacing only a few boards would damage the entire flooring. We also informed them that as the laminate flooring in the hallway flowed through to the living, kitchen and dining areas that those areas would also need to be replaced. Clean & Dry declined to replace the whole area and suggested using boards from another room instead, which we found unacceptable as there were no hidden areas in the other rooms. To be nice, we offered them to replace the hallway only and we would cover the cost for the remainder – but still they refused. Following months of communication without prompt response or resolution, we filed a complaint through the WA government conciliation process, which proved ineffective. Clean & Dry informed conciliation that they had located the exact laminate boards for replacement; however, this was inaccurate based on previous information from three reputable flooring suppliers. We believed the boards may have been similar but not exact, and did not want to risk further damage. Due to the length of time in resolving this matter, we decided to replace the entire affected area ourselves at a huge cost and are now considering legal action against Clean & Dry Carpet Cleaning to recover these expenses. On another note, the actual carpet cleaning service we had done left the carpets stiff and there were areas that still appeared dirty on the stairwell. We never complained about that at the time as the damage to our laminate was more important and has been very very stressful.

I had clean and dry this morning for my carpets and found Damien to be very professional and the best job i have ever had!! The carpets look like new again and i will definitely get them next time!! Had other carpet cleaners and they dont compare!!

Booked end of lease carpet cleaning/ ensuite shower, floor and toilet for a unit. Carpets in several areas throughout the home old carpet. Carpet hardly cleaned and sections missed that I just went over with a cloth which brought up dirt easily after they were professionally cleaned. Weren’t deodorised well certainly couldn’t smell any deodorant. When [Name Removed] arrived he wanted payment straight away which was fine however once payment was taken he proceeded to clean the shower and said shower glass was not included which is not what we were advised on quoting. The whole point of us getting it professionally cleaned was to get the calcium off for glass. He said he would spray it quickly out of goodwill which was basically a waste of time as it was still left dirty. My partner asked if he was going to clean the toilet as quoted and he replied, “Are you joking”. And proceeded to tell him it was not included. In the meantime I had to go home with our baby so was not able to show him the quote he sent saying toilet included. He took advantage of my partner not knowing the full quote details. Bruno also did a poor job of cleaning the ensuite floor also had to be redone. Would not recommend he was there less than 2hours so not sure what we paid $400 for.

Wish I had checked the reviews before I engaged their services. Absolutely NO DIFFERENCE after "said" clean. I was told by the technician that I have "too high expectations" when I said there was no difference and the rug still looks the same to me after the clean and the toybox lid has "clean patches". Total waste of money, shop elsewhere!!!

Please don't hire this company!! They did an awful job, took no responsibility for the outcome and full of excuses. Stay away!! They demand payment up front so not much you can do if you are not happy with the outcome.

I honestly don't want to write and waste my time about the most rubbish and con service I received from this company. Have already complained to ACCC. No matter the excuse, the final job speaks for itself which was terrible. And yes, dont bother chasing them after you suffered from your loss, they don't care about reputation either.

Terrible Service! Terrible after-service support! T’s and C’s is saying much for itself. They basically don’t accept any responsibility. I’ll guarantee the result will be much better if you do it yourself. Do not waste your time and money with them.
