Victoria. I hate writing negative reviews about Australian small business. I have done this only to warn prospects about this companies' shoddy practices and lack of service / follow up. First problem. When you get a quote that is what you expect to pay. My quote done on-line was $2600. We covered every aspect of the job when the quote was made. I ended up having to pay $3,300....27% more than the quote. More about that later. After the quote the job was allocated to a team member. He didn't turn up on the allotted day. He sent a text telling me he had another job and my quote was too low. I went back to management. They said the job could be done at a later date, but the price would increase 27%. I was stuck because I had arranged for someone to clean my water tank [ I have to collect drinking water from my roof] after the clean. I had no time to change him. I reluctantly agreed the price. I had to negotiate to get just a 27% increase. The day arrived and the guys were late. I found out they went to another property and started to clean the wrong roof. The owner was very annoyed. I told the team it was vital none of the cleaning water went into my drinking water tank. I had been promised that the down pipes would be disconnected to prevent this happening. The team told me they couldn't disconnect the down pipes. They instead promised to block all the downpipe outlets to prevent chemicals and lichen getting into my drinking water tanks. I agreed. When the tank cleaner came the next day he reported the drinking water was covered in lichen. He said it was a filthy job and he had to charge extra. So, both Lichen and chemicals got into my drinking water. Terrible. I told the team to take care when spraying the roof as the terra cotta tiles might allow water to come into my home. They said it wouldn't be a problem. My house leaked in 7 places. They promised to come in and clean up the mess but they didn't do it. So, I have stains on my ceiling. You can see from the attached photos the way they left the facias. Filthy. when the job was quoted I told them I had a mesh in the gutters to prevent birds nesting and debris flowing into my water tanks. We agreed it would be taken out and cleaned and then returned. They convinced me that the mesh only collected lichen and mud, so I was left with a stack of mesh much of which I found in the garden. I think because they were late starting and had a long drive home they were keen to leave so inside my hose wasn't cleaned and the mesh didn't go back in the gutters. the whole job was sub-standard. I complained and was promised action more than 2 weeks ago. Despite 2 reminders I still haven't heard from CleanMade. It was a terrible job, terrible service and ducking for cover rather than attending to the problem. I see they offer a money back guarantee. I will let you know if I get it. Don't hold your breath.

Probably the only good taste left in our mouth with CleanMade after our experience. Used a hand blower only. No flushing or anything like that, nothing like the advertised service. Down pipes were completely untouched. They removed old gutter guard which we did agree to. Then we were hit with a horrendous cost for this extra (after they had already started) on top of the what seemed like originally a decent cost for gutter clean. The metal gutter guard was then left strewn around the property, including in small pieces on the grass and even in the pool. Now it’s a hazard for the pets and kids. We have found some roof nails so we expect there to be some holes in the roof too now. Constant calling over the next week produced nothing with us only being told a “case manager” was on the job. And that’s even if I could get through. Even an email to the admin team went unanswered or even acknowledged. All in all. Not the advertised job. Feeling like my partner at home alone with a baby was taken advantage of in regards to the cost from the contractor. After a week of getting silence from them a Google review and a review on this site was published. Funnily enough, they were almost immediately in contact once these went up. We were passed on to the the tech was somewhat hostile and stated that he left the gutter guard in 2 piles and that the gutter clearance was done as advertised. The pics as attached were about 30min after they left. Unfinished job, no pressure wash or any kind of flush. And the gutter guard, as mentioned strewn around the property. He eventually offered a $500 cash back which we declined. When Cleanmade made contact it took a couple of return calls and they agreed to the “100% money back guarantee” and then later BRIBED another $200 to take down the review posts. They then later renegged on on both of these when met with some resistance from us re the bad practise of this, and not immediately taking them down. So don’t believe the “100% money back guarantee” at all if you aren’t happy with their service. It’s highly likely that we aren’t the only ones to give a bad review here, especially with the BRIBING practise. Take the “high” rating with a grain of salt. Any slightly negative reviews clearly get taken off. Seems like this practise it’s likely a breach of several of these review websites so the consumer can’t be educated in their searches for a good company. Product Review has been alerted to this fact. Their 100% money back guarantee” is clearly just a con too. If you value good service, honesty and integrity; the company IS NOT the company you want to use. Do your best to find a honest company who live up to their advertised expectations instead. A complaint is also being laid with the ACCC.

Josh and Tyler came and cleaned the gutters on my double storey house. They were early (to avoid the predicted rain), which was an immediate positive, as well as being very friendly and professional, providing before and after photos, checking for broken tiles and explaining the process. They also did a great job cleaning up the debris from the guttering. An all round great job! Highly recommend!

Josh and Tyler were quick to provide a quote and didn’t leave me waiting weeks for the job to be done and were reasonably priced. They did a fantastic job cleaning out my gutters and removing some pesky birds nests. They kept everything clean and provided some great photos of before and after. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

So I had one of those adds pop-up on my feed, as I had been looking at gutter cleaners. Clicked the link, had a call the following day, and two days later Josh and Tyler arrived to do the job, on my large two story home. This is where things get wild! what an absolute amazing job these two guys did. Backed up by a full catalogue of photos of absolutely everything, would recommend these two to absolutely everyone, as long as they can fit me in again next time. Amazing!
