Gutterboy Gutter Cleaning Sydney

I engaged this company to clean my roof gutters based on their website and an email quote of $300. The first problem was that they didn't turn up on the day arranged - it hadn't been scheduled by their office. On the second day the work was arranged they hadn't turned up by the expected time - this time they had experienced delays in a previous job. No phone calls from them, I did all the chasing. On arrival they advised that as it was their first visit there would be an extra $100. I really needed the job done so I agreed. Then we discussed them cleaning my solar hot water panel and kitchen skylight. This was another $50. The job was done in 30 mins. I queried the speed and they advised they couldn't clean the gutters as they had gutter guard over them! I paid a lot of money for them to blow leaves off the roof. Never again.

Had them return multiple times to repair a leaking roof which they attempted and confirmed the repairs are completed. Still leaking and now have major ceiling damages which have turned into mould etc. I was told that the works were completed but when I ask them to return I get the excuse of the works are now out of the warranty period. Will not recommend this company as they have poor workmanship and charge excess amount.

The gutter boys did a great job - they arrived right on time, were very friendly, professional and worked very quickly to get the job done.

I got a quote to clean3.5m of gutter, put in leaf guard and extend an outflow pipe for $1000. I thought it expensive however took it at face value given it was at a 2nd story level thought it OK. I was called 2.5 hours later by the office saying the work was done and wanting payment. I don't mind paying where there is a fair effort but in this case it was a complete rip off and in hindsight I should never have paid. What ever they quote get them to justify why it is that much and then only pay if it takes that long. Otherwise find someone else that doesnt treat their customers like a cash cow.
