Unreliable and disorganized cleaning company who struggles with basic communication. I booked a flat rate cleaning service along with an extra deep clean of my oven for Tuesday morning. However, the first cleaner assigned to the job arrived an hour late and claimed he hadn’t been provided with the proper cleaning chemicals to do his job, only arriving with a mop and vacuum. I contacted the customer service team and they rescheduled me for the cleaning the following morning, Wednesday. They assured me that my new assigned cleaner would arrive fully equipped with all the necessary materials for the job. The next morning, I waited an hour, but the new cleaner never arrived. I then checked my Maid2Match account and discovered that my cleaning had been rescheduled to Thursday morning without any prior notice. No call, no SMS, no email. Absolutely nothing. Once again, I contacted the customer service team as I was not informed of the changes beforehand. They claimed that my new assigned cleaner’s car had apparently broken down that morning and couldn't provide another cleaner to cover her. The lack of communication and logistical failure on their behalf has caused me a lot of stress these past two days. I'm genuinely disappointed with the service Maid2Match provides its customers. It has left a poor first impression on someone who was looking to become a new repeat customer. I anticipated a reasonable service given what I paid, but those expectations weren't met. It’s also important to note that the company places your funds on hold before the service is completed, which makes it even more frustrating when their cleaners show up empty-handed unable to do the bare minimum or if they don't even show up at all. The only redeeming aspect of this experience was the kindness and empathy shown by the friendly Filipino customer service ladies over the phone, who were incredibly helpful throughout this frustrating situation. However, unless this company starts to hire dependable cleaners and significantly improves their communication with customers, I will not be using their services again and will advise others to steer clear as well.
Where do I start... My friend, whom has a disability, hired made to match as a part of their ndis plan to assist with regular weekly cleaning. The first visit was amazing, their cleaner was efficient and had great attention to detail. Unfortunately after that, it all went down hill from there. Last fortnight they called 2 hours before the cleaners shift was due to start saying she wouldn't show up as she had something come up. Fast forward to Monday last week and this time 3 minutes before she was due to show up, they called to say she could no longer continue a service due to personal reasons. However, they had availability for someone to come Thursday morning starting between 8 and 8.30. He arrived at 8.47 was booked for two hours but didn't leave until 11.10am. Come Thursday morning, we gave the man who came to clean the house a list of things to do. This list included: Dusting the tv and surfaces Cleaning the toilet, shower and sink Vacuuming and mopping Cleaning the windows Cleaning the microwave And wiping the switches and handles Dusting skirting For a three bedroom house, we thought this reasonable to complete in two hours of not, most of the jobs. It took him 15 minutes just to bring 3 large boxes worth of cleaning products after being shown this list, inside. 1. While he did clean parts of the bathroom and toilet, he spent over an hour doing what should have been a 15 minute job. And that was doing the bath tub, and shower screen, sink and nothing else. 20 minutes of the total hour was spent in the toilet alone with the door shut. The toilet bowl is still dirty. 2. He then proceeded to clean the gas stove with bleach - something my friend is highly sensitive to due to her disability and heightened sense of smell. He was not asked to clean the stove at all as they have animals as well. 3. He then proceeded to move items, wearing the same gloves he had scrubbed the toilet and stove with and used bleach with, items such as a syringe for their dogs daily medication which they can not longer use now. Again, he was not asked to do sills where the syringe was located. 4. The shower towel, pillows, bedding and their pj's were also adjusted and the bed made, wearing those same gloves that had cleaned the toilet and handled bleach. 5. During mopping, the cleaner went around items not under them, the same as vacuuming. Things like a vacuum aren't hard to move. 6. The cleaner spent over 10 minutes and dare I say more in the toilet, and I'm the living room texting on his phone and ducked to his car after cleaning the bedroom for no apparent reason other than we suspect to steal something and put it in his car. 7. Due to the unbearable fumes caused by excessive spraying and by excessive I mean over 20 sprays in the small bathroom for the bath the screen and the vanity alone ( even their partner who cleans, thought the spraying to be excessive), and sure to the bleach, my friend and I were forced to relocate the animals outside and sit outside her house for over four hours on a cold rainy day, with the house windows open to try to get rid of the smell. 8. To add insult to injury, we have sought an apology and for the syringe to be replaced and the notebook the cleaner took to be returned, however we have heard nothing. How they treat the most vulnerable (and high paying) people in society like this is disgusting. They seem to be after your money and then when something goes wrong they spit you out without an inch or care or accountability. There's no surprise they won't call them back.
