Mates Group Removals

NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY!!! MATES GROUP REMOVALIST they didnt want to move our house they took 1/4 of a 14t truck full left the moving home and dumped all our belongings they took which was a couple bed frames mattress lounges and thats it and dumped it on the front yard. No taking into the rooms just dumped outside They've stolen the backs to our lounges my partner done 3 trips of boxes in the kia carnival jammed packed back and forth to and from old and new house in their so called 3.5hrs of work. Photos are attatched of what they done in 3.5hrs they wanted $70p 1/2hr plus gst. warning for everyone out their so no one else gets ripped off or their belongings stolen like they done to us lounges and stuff from beds not knowing until it came to building it all thry they stole and took our belongings. They wanted us to pay 7hours up front for them to continue the work so almost 1.1k after they dumped our belongings but wouldnt come back unless I paid them 7 hours of work i told them where the sun dont shine and isnt happening i know a scam when I see one. I wasnt that dumb to pay them 7hrs of work when it took us in total 4hours after their "3.5" hours of taking hardly anything. Always standing around took them 30mins to half wrap a queen bed mattress. I said i would pay once the job was completed but the Removalist conditions was i was to pay 7hr up front or they wont continue. the men who came didnt want to do the job the second they came they got to our house they were no stop complaining and compained how much was to be done, yet it was bare minimum all we asked for was beds, lounges, washing machine, drier, all the draws, tv, fridge and freezer to be moved. While we will handle the boxes yet that couldnt even be done so they left a family of 6 homeless with some of our belongings at a new house and the rest at the old not even 1 full bed was at the new home. I attatched photos of their so called 3.5hrs of work they done which is attatched to this review. They took 30mins to half wrap a queen mattress came in the home and said we cant do this its too much for us and took their time doing what they did Will be taking this further as theyve stolen the back to our lounges and wont return it. They've magically disappeared into things air apparently. This is apparently 3.5hours worth of work and wanting $350 for it first 3 photos is how they left our belongings. Ive attatched photos of the men if anyone recognises them i want the back of our bsck of the lounges returned The lounges are now built but apparently weve got them yeah okay so whys 2 missing off 1 and 1 missing off another they also took stuff from beds too now we started building them not realising until building them Im so p*ssed off you put your trust into someone and they do this to a family yet they still demanded for us to pay for 3.5hours of work on top of the $200 bond i said i want my stuff back but denial denial denial so now if my kid accidentally falls off because they stole the backs from our lounges they will be sorry. Also leaving thing out my partner has a crushed spinal cord but they left all our belongings they took that apparently took 3.5 hours to do and left it dumped all over the lawn and drive way. So not only they stole from a struggling family with 4 children 6 and under just wanting to be in their home For the Easter long weekend they stole items from us that means nothing to them but just to hurt us and be mean. The bosses had no sympathy and said they must of got stolen off the lawn. Okay whats someone going to do with bits of beds and 3 back of a lounge ? Aca wil be contacted im so over companies like them getting away with things like this to people who pay for a service. The 7hr payment they wanted when they already dumped and took off from the new home was 1p0% not happening they would have taken my money and run with it.

I'm very happy with these removalists. We were moving from Canberra to the Gold Coast and we got a number of quotes. Mates Group was the cheapest so we checked their reviews and they had glowing ones. We asked a few questions about pickup and delivery and decided to go with them. They turned up in a 12-tonne truck when they said they would and worked like troopers loading up. Then they were gone! Two days later at our requested time, they turned up at the new place and worked just as hard unloading. Everything was handled carefully and there were no breakages or anything missing. Perfect! A big thank you to Albert at pickup and Dani on delivery, and their offsiders. Really hard workers and pleasant to get on with. And then they were gone, onto the next job!

I had a tight budget and uncertain time frame for an interstate move from NSW to QLD , the team at Mates Group came out to physically check how much stuff I had to move and nailed the truck recommendation. They worked with my budget and Mead & his companions absolutely beastmoded the move! In less than 24hrs I was unpacked in my new home and honestly amazed by their focus and friendly approach. Only one item was dmgd (cheap plastic stand that had no real value) and yet they offered to pay for it immediately (not required but I appreciated the sentiment!). Honestly, would recommend these guys to everyone and if I ever move again (hopefully no time soon) they'll be my first call. 10/10
