Detailed reviews
Three men showed up. They hadn't been told they had to pack anything so they didn't have any boxes and bought them from Bunnings. I worked out it cost them $160 we paid $275. We were moving from a three bedroom house to four bedroom townhouse. Granted the steps at the house were a little tricky but we had taken two loads to the house in our car ourselves and it was quick. There was only two of us. They literally just dumped things in boxes without packing them (except plates, cups etc). There was kitchen stuff in with bedroom things including knives. My 21 yr old son was going through one box with an oven mitt so he wouldn't injure himself. Boxes were marked randomly because of this. They couldn't be marked main bedroom because of course there was kitchen stuff in them. We had left the house to go to the new house because our cats were in distress but I offered to come back and called them three times to see how they were going (and what was taking so long). They put a dent in my fridge and I literally had to slow them down as they started coming through the front door because this was a brand new townhouse and they were about to damage the door walking though with items. There was literally no care taken with anything. I am still trying to find cords and so far Two Men and Truck has offered me $190 to pay for the damage to the door frame. Not only that when we went back to our old house they hadn't done the one bathroom at all. They did inside the bathroom cabinet and left everything else. Wth! And left every picture hanging on the wall including a picture from my honeymoon a picture I did myself and a picture From now deceased Apollo mission when he was in Navy in the US and crossed the Meridian. Precious memories could have been lost forever if this had been an interstate or international move. This was a subcontractored move. I could have ordered these random guys of the internet. They weren't wearing uniforms. They were subcontracted by the guy who had paid for name to use Two Men and Truck. They didn't actually have anything to do with that company much. And they seem to be blaming me because I left these grown men who were supposed to be professional packers to pack on their own instead of watching them. I was charged over a fortune for this move. It wasn't very far and it took them almost exactly 8 hours. Oh and I also found a lollipop stick stuck to a box. Neither of us eat lollipops. Thanks for present. Just adding the email they sent me from customer service offering $190 as a final offer because apparently my stuff was strewn all over the place and they aren't saying its trash. So that excuses the broken items, damaged walls, dented fridge and the dangerous uncovered knives that weren't even in the same box as the knife block for some unknown reason!
We did an interstate move for a two-bed apartment, with packers hired to help. It was very expensive for a disorganised, mediocre job. Admin was really confusing, dozens of emails and calls with different people giving conflicting advice. The biggest problem was that they badly stuffed up the volume estimate, so we had to finish the move with a separate backload. Their "professional packing service" is actually just a couple of untrained people sent to your address, and you have to guess how much packing material they'll go through and pre-buy it. Truck crew did not ring on approach, as promised. They rang after arriving, after pissing off building management, and after starting the clock (all before the booked arrival time). We are glad we booked a fixed price load/unload as they took an EXTREMELY long time. A few items got superficial but very-avoidable damage, as they had not padded things that obviously needed it (but they did pad a number of things that didn't need it.. go figure). Two stars as most of our stuff did get moved, mostly unharmed, roughly on time. But it was stressful as hell and really expensive when you add on the backload. We won't use TMAAT again.
I would not recommend them. Their driver damaged my neighbour's fence. Instead of proactively arranging to repair the damage they told me it was my responsibility to arrange quotes for their "review". I booked a job for a whole day, but the guys who turned up said they were only booked for half a day. They seemed poorly trained and curtains were not correctly installed. Very unhappy with the service from this company (not blaming the guys who were sent, but those sending them)

On Tuesday 09/12/2025 we had a short move from a 4th level unit at Golden Beach 4551 to a new house at Golden Beach. The two guys arrived on time 8.30 & were very polite, unfortunately when we got to go up in the lift it wouldn't work. I contacted the committee & they rang the lift company to come & fix it. I told the two guys that I would have to cancel & reorganise it for Wednesday. Luckily the lift guy came out in the next hour & got the lift working so I rang the company to see if they were still in the area. By 10.00 they rang me back & said they could be back there in 30 min. GREAT. They are a great company to deal with & if you are moving give them a call. The guys were so careful with all the furniture especially the large items which only had centimeters to spare to get through the doors.
Ciao and Bernardo were fantastic in moving our moderate load over a 150km move. They were on time, very efficient, very courteous and did a very careful and professional job, especially in loading. It’s easy to see that they are very experienced indeed. I would look to use them again for sure.
